Drop-in care

This service is provided for all shifts for families who's children are in school but the school may be closed for a teacher work day or spring/fall breaks.

Before and after school care

This childcare service is for elementary school aged students ONLY (age 10).

The Gifted Learning Academy Before and After School Program is an organized childcare program to provide supervision for children. We offer a variety of activities which include recreation, games, arts and crafts, reading, homework time and “free time” for the children to pursue their own interests in a safe, friendly environment.

summer care

Gifted Learning Academy offers a summer camp program for elementary school aged kids. The camp is located in our facility in Salisbury, NC. It offers a well supervised environment in which the children have fun all summer long. Space in the is limited so registration is on a first come first serve basis.

There are arts and crafts, outside play, games, contests, themed events, talent shows and more. Field trips and swimming may also be planned.

Quality Care Through Excellent Programming

We understand the anxiety parents face when selecting an early childhood education program for their precious little ones. Oftentimes parents will question:

Offerings

• Live Cameras: This is provided within the classroom where parents can see and talk to their children through the camera.

• Parent-Teacher Conferences: We have parent-teacher conferences that occure every semester. During this time, we update parents on their child's development.

• Homework: We also provide students ages 2-5 years old with homework to take home each weekend. This allows parents to be involved in their child's learning.

• Yoga: We provide interactive yoga session a few times out of the week. We follow Cosmic Kids Yoga lessons on Youtube. The lessons are based off of current cartoons or child friendly movies and holds the interest of the students and they don't even realize they are stretching and strengthening their gross motor skills. 

Food & Nutrition

Included in the price of tuition, our students receive healthy meals provided in our on-site facilities. All of our meals provide nutritious choices and a great start for a healthy lifestyle while also meeting dietary restrictions and requirements.

Monday-Thursday : Breakfast and snack are provided. Parents are responsible for bringing lunch items for their children

Friday: Three meals are provided, including lunch.

Our Community

Our families come from nearby communities, creating a close-knit environment and strong parent partnerships. Whether we’re close to home or near the office, our center is ideal for busy working families and easy to get to – for pick-up and drop-off or to stop in for a visit.
